One of the things we’re missing most during lockdown is watching TV with our friends and family – Gogglebox style. We all love to laugh together, criticise celebrity haircuts together and work out who the murderer is before anyone else. But all that’s been pretty tricky while we’re in separate houses.

Netflix, sensing our dismay, has introduced Netflix Party. This clever little Google Chrome extension lets you watch Netflix with your friends without you having to try and manually sync your streams. Netflix Party sorts everything out for you, with an inbuilt group chat function that lets you discuss the action as and when it’s happening ¬– you can even upload emojis and GIFs to share your mood.

There’s a lot of good stuff to watch together on Netflix at the moment. Tiger King is great to enjoy with other people as you can share your collective disbelief. But if you’re looking for something a little more refined, Unorthodox and After Life are definitely worth checking out.

If you are short on data then the good news is Three have Netflix as part of their Go Binge plan so you can watch as much as you want without using any data.

There’s no time like the present ¬– try Netflix Party out now.
